Welcome to the Boston Alumnae Chapter

The women of the Boston alumnae chapter

The BAC is a diverse collection of wonderful women from all over the country, each with their own unique story of Alpha Phi and much support to give to their sisters near and far.

Below, you will find information for our most recent and upcoming events. This will be updated periodically as new events grow near. If you have something you would like to do, why not make it an Alpha Phi event. Just contact the VP of Programming and set it up.

Don't forget, friends and family are always welcome to attend (yes, that means spouses, boyfriends and brothers!)

Summer Outing - Singing Beach

Hello!

Is there a better way to spend a summer day than to spend it at the beach? Pull out your swimsuits, some SPF, and a nice comfy beach towel and join us on a little adventure to Singing Beach!

The Plan:

-Meet at North Station Commuter Rail Office at 11:45.
-Catch the 12:15 train outbound to Rockport.
-Get to Singing Beach at 1ish
-Enjoy some sun, fun, and waves.
-Catch the 5:30 train back to North Station.

Round Trip commuter rail cost is $13.50 and there is a $5 charge for the beach.

Our tentative rain date is September 8th.

Since this is a more complex event, if interested, please reply back in the positive and send your email and phone number to katy.pan@gmail.com. I will have another email group so we can hammer out plans to make sure no one is missed!

Hope to see y'all there!

Katy

Summer Kick-Off Event - Pub Trivia Cheers (Faneuil Hall)

Update - To find us at the bar, Sarah and I will be wearing red. Be on the look out for us! We will also have a sign and I will be standing outside the bar before the event starts to coordinate.

Hello!

On May 17th, we will be having our first summer event. We will be having drinks and playing pub trivia at Cheers bar in Faneuil Hall. The bar is located right in Faneuil Hall so it is very accessible by T. The Government Center or Haymarket stops are probably the closests and best bets. I think if you drive in, you may be able to snag a parking spot fairly close.

The website of the bar is: http://www.cheersboston.com/index_fh.htm

Pub trivia usually takes around 2 hours and is alot of fun. :) It starts at 7 but it would be good if we got there around 6:30 to grab places. You get to work in a team so don't worry if you think you aren't good at trivia, the categories are very diverse. Here is the website for newbies to the concept: http://www.trailsideentertainment.com/stump_howtoplay.asp

Sarah and I will figure out a way so you can easily spot the group! More details as the events gets closer. We hope you all can join us, have some fun, and unwind after the workday.
